(Source: ICAD/Weill Cornell Medical College) - Researchers announced interim results of an ongoing Phase II clinical trial of Gammagard Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IGIV) for Alzheimer's disease.


Study on Alzheimer's Treatment in Hispanics
(Source: ICAD/PRNewswire) - Eisai and Pfizer announced study results showing that Hispanics with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease experienced significant improvement in cognition compared to baseline after 12 weeks of treatment with Aricept. This is the first clinical trial looking at an AD prescription medication exclusively in Hispanics, and is important given the high risk of AD among this large population.
