Tarry No More: Let's Find a Cure
I just wanted to respond and agree with Chuck Jackson's letter. My husband was also young when diagnosed and I could not get him into one trial, and it was not for the lack of trying. It appears the younger patient does not represent the majority of Alzheimer's patients and therefore research would not benefit from the information obtained from them. The minimum ages for clinical trials HAS dropped in the four years my husband was diagnosed. It used to be 65 and older; now most of them are 55 or 60 and older. There should be NO age limit on trials. I truly believe so much information is being lost because pharmaceutical companies do not want to believe the EOAD patients exist. Younger victims and their families have so much more to lose, and by not allowing them to take part in clinical trials is an injustice and a form of age discrimination, to say the least. The guidelines need to be changed.

Tarry No More: Let's Find a Cure
My heart goes out to Chuck Jackson. He is willing and able to help with research for the disease. Early onset is growing from what I understand and his input could be so valuable. If you can, contact him let him know I heard his message.
