Cancer Drug Stabilizes Cognitive Decline
In the April 26 issue of The Alzheimer's Daily News the article entitled "Cancer Drug Stabilizes Cognitive Decline" addresses the benefit of the cancer medication Leuprolide acetate for treating Alzheimer patients, reported by Dr. Brian Reynolds of Voyager Pharmaceuticals. I believe this is the same compound known as Lupron, or Drug VP 4896, that is presently in clinical trials all over the country in Voyager's "Aladdin" study, and I think they are still recruiting for the study.
