With regard to the article on 'Blue Light and White Sunshine,' reference is made to the study of two groups; the first group being in 'normal fluorescent lighting'. I for one do not consider fluorescent lighting to be normal. It takes two bulbs, which interact with each other, causing constant movement (flickering) and, for the most part, goes unnoticed by the naked eye.
I am adversely affected by this type of lighting with a feeling of something eating into the top of my scalp and I have an extremely hard time enduring more than 15 minutes. It comes as no surprise that there is disruptive behavior under these conditions, especially with dementia patients.
